For those who are new to Joe Bananas, we will custom make the jacket of your choice. Once you purchase we will be in touch with instructions on how to measure yourself so that we can tailor your piece with a personalised fit.
The Mossy Paperbark Handwoven Raw Silk Jacket is your classic go-to when you’re meeting up with the lads for a “jolly good time, old boy!”. Its preppy throwback motif is to the Bloke Stripe of the rowing blazer but it is also this which creates effortless distinction from everything else in your collection. Suffice to say, it turns heads!
The pastel green silks are inspired by the dense moss of the forest floor, and the pale, neutral tones take their inspiration from the iconic paperbark trees native to Australia and introduced to Florida.
DRESS IT UP: French Navy or Black shirt over Sage chinos or pastel green trousers.
DRESS IT DOWN: For summer lunch it will all be about Lavender or Navy chinos and an unironed off-white linen shirt.
FUN FACT: While native to Australia, Paperbark was introduced to Florida in the early 20th Century to be a source of excellent hardwood timber for furniture and ornaments. The thirstiest of trees, it also dried up wetlands and reduced mosquito populations but… it is ridiculously flammable and is now considered a weed due to its potential to fuel wildfires.

You will receive a complimentary Fitting Consult (by Zoom) with one of our Lead Stylists with any purchase of a custom tailored Jacket. Our team will contact you as soon as possible to schedule this at a convenient time for you.
This will include full measuring, a styling consult and our undivided attention to ensure you get the Perfect Fit for you and your taste.
We will then craft a pattern with your name on it, cut your garment to size and make from scratch just for you. Our Tailored collection is true custom fitting for the Perfect Fit Guarantee.

All Jackets are custom made in our Singapore Studio to give you the best personalised fit.
Currently our delivery times for our Jackets are 4-6 weeks.
