Description
INSPIRATION
Euphyllia glabrescens is a species of large-polyped stony coral belonging to the Caryophyllidae family. Its common name is the torch coral due to its long sweeper tentacles tipped with potent cnidocytes. It can be a number of colours, and is often bicolored with contrasting tentacles and polyp tips.
With a great distribution of Torch Coral in Fiji - Joe Bananas' second home - it was easy to draw inspiration from this quirky natural beauty to create the ‘Torch Coral’ Raw Silk Jacket. A masterful mix of sea green, violet and gold silk are interwoven against a contrasting black, giving the weave great texture and dimension. A delightful addition to any wardrobe.
