The Suri alpaca is a member of the camelid family. Whilst there is only one species of Alpaca in the world, there are different fleeces, which are often referred to as breeds.
Suri alpacas are rare, even in their native South America, comprising only 2% of the world’s alpaca population. Their fleece is longer, silkier, and hangs from their bodies in long locks.
Suri Alpaca is a soft, durable, luxurious and silky natural fibre. Whilst similar to sheep's wool, it is warmer, softer, and has no lanolin - which makes it hypoallergenic.

Drawn into the store by the loud fabric jackets on display, I’ve come away with a “gateway” beige jacket… It was a little more than I might have spent previously, but the fabric is great, it drapes and moves so beautifully. Tailoring was required, and was spot on first time. Paired with a couple of brighter coloured shirts I was able to see its potential and am happy with the purchase. Sales support was very positive, with styling help and options in my size all made available to try on. Well worth a drop in, even just to marvel at the bright jackets and shirts.
Revieved for a present. Concerned that it may be a little bland but the excellent fit, stylish cut and quality of the linen make this a standout. Perfect summer shirt with shorts.
Got this for a gift. Initially thought the colour may be a little much but the cut, the quality of the fabric and the muted tone (yes muted) make this a star with a wide variety of pants and jackets. Very very happy to add this to the wardrobe. Another winner from Joe.
