Description
The Suri alpaca is a member of the camelid family. Whilst there is only one species of Alpaca in the world, there are different fleeces, which are often referred to as breeds.
Suri alpacas are rare, even in their native South America, comprising only 2% of the world’s alpaca population. Their fleece is longer, silkier, and hangs from their bodies in long locks.
Suri Alpaca is a soft, durable, luxurious and silky natural fibre. Whilst similar to sheep's wool, it is warmer, softer, and has no lanolin - which makes it hypoallergenic.
The Joe Bananas Suri Peacoat is the epitome of luxury. Extraordinarily lightweight, exceptionally soft to the touch, and impeccably stylish. It must be worn to be believed.
