Description
Cradle Mountain is located in the central highlands of Tasmania and is named after the resemblance to a gold mining cradle. Rising above Dove Lake, this majestic mountain is at its prettiest during winter when the ice and snow-laced mountaintop glistens in the sunlight.
As the ice caps imply, the mid-weight Herringbone Weave provides a robust layer for a cool climate. Far too good to wear atop Cradle Mountain itself, this jacket is better suited for reclining at The Cradle Mountain Lodge, by the fireplace on a cold winter’s evening.
DRESS IT UP: Stone, oatmeal or charcoal trousers with a navy shirt, brown belt and brown boots.
DRESS IT DOWN: Navy, pale-blue chinos or dad-denim jeans, you know the ones. Blue Tee or Polo and nothing too fancy on your feet.
CURIOUS FACT: Cradle Mountain is named for its resemblance to a gold mining cradle, used to sift gold from alluvial soils.
