Description
INSPIRATION
Emerald is a gemstone and a variety of the mineral beryl (Be3Al2(SiO3)6), occurring in hues ranging from yellow-green to blue-green, with the primary hue necessarily being green. Emeralds in antiquity have been mined in Egypt since 1500 BCE, and India, and Austria since at least the 14th century CE. A fine emerald must possess not only a pure verdant green hue, but also a high degree of transparency to be considered a top gem.
Whilst the 'Emerald Paperbark' Raw Silk Jacket may not be a gemstone, it is a top gem. The alluring hue of the emerald silk in the signature paperbark weave is a magnificent display of opulence and luxury. With a subtle sheen and elegant texture, it is fit for the King of the Emerald City.
